Full time job: $42,619/year Job title: Air Export Agent Requirements: High School degree and 6 months experience Duties: Upload all documentation to the different systems and platforms, of customs automation and being able to stay in contact whit cargo numerators domestic and international. Calculate weight, volume, cost of good to be moved and prepare invoices and cost quotations for freight transportation, and verify proper packaging and labeling. Prepare shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, and verify adherence of documentation to customs, insurance, or regulatory requirements. Follow TSA regulations, restrict access to non-authorized personal into cargo handling area, since we operate with domestic and international airlines. Enforce all safety measures and make sure they are followed up to the highest standard of the TSA, to avoid possible infractions, and comply with the TSA Officer on every inspection, and help on the documents request ordered by the officer. Inform clients of factors such as shipping options, timelines, transfers, or regulations affecting shipments. Provide shipment status following and notification to exporters, consignees, or insurers. Consolidate loads with a common destination to reduce costs to individual shippers, following regulations domestic and international of each country. Reserve necessary space on aircraft, to ensure cargo will arrive on time to the destination. Available to work weekends and holidays.
